WalkStyles Connects Walkers in 50 States
WalkStyles, Inc. would like to let CityBlogUSA bloggers know of an upcoming opportunity to connect with others who have the same interests as you. If you like to walk, hike or jog, this is for you. WalkStyles and the WeWhoWalk Tour, a national tour through all 50 state capitals to promote wellness and community through walking, will be in Des Moines on Wednesday, Sept. 5!
Sue Parks, WalkStyles CEO and tour director, along with WalkStyles’ Des Moines ambassador, Richard Bartsh, Regional CEO of UnitedHealthcare, will lead a 5-mile walk on a save and scenic route that highlights Des Moines. It’s free to participate (and receive a free t-shirt and light breakfast), but you must register for a free membership at www.walkstyles.com by Tuesday, Sept. 4, to do so.
The tour is in relation to the recently re-designed WalkStyles’ website, www.walkstyles.com, which is a free social networking site designed to connect walkers and those who want to live a life of wellness through walking.
If you love to walk and want to meet new people, hop online to become a free member on www.walkstyles.com by Sept. 4 (which automatically registers you for the walk), grab your walking shoes, and meet at the Embassy Suites on the River, 101 E. Locust St., at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 5. See you then!
